Glad to help. A lot of book

Glad to help. A lot of book buyers don't realize how important reviews are to an author. Sheila, the lady that owns the vape shop I use e-mailed me back that she is on vacation in Montana right now and will check it out when she gets back home. Good luck with sales.

Thank you, Katherine! You

Thank you, Katherine! You write really helpful reviews. yes

Good luck with the toms. My first big ones are about to harvest - yay! I've had little ones (sweet baby girl cherry tomatoes and juliet roma/grape) for a couple weeks.

Review posted - loved the book. Wish I had access to this when I first started looking into E-Cigs. Very helpful. Thanks for the info on additional feeding of the toms. They still look fine, but I am keeping a very close eye on them.

Oh, thank you so much,

Oh, thank you so much, Katherine! I was worried about that chapter, that it ought to be a more detached clinical thing. But the beta readers liked it. And the clinical detachment - well, it never worked on me. wink

I wouldn't add anything to the Earthbox toms until the plants start looking a bit peaked - leaves yellowing and such. And then, I really do add more Growbox nutes usually. (I assume Earthbox and Growbox nutes are pretty alike.) Another thing I've used for mid-season re-feed is Texas Tomato Food (also available from Amazon). Or a Dynamite Plant Food tomato-specific fertilizer from Home Depot or somewhere as another top-dressing fertilizer. I wouldn't use AG nutes, no. But then my tomato plants drink an entire 4 gallon reservoir per day, and they'd drink 6 gallons if I were willing to refill it twice.

Heh, I've being giving excess cucumbers to the local food bank kitchen. And anyone else who'll take 'em. I grow those in the ground, though. They weren't very long-lived in a Growbox.

I wish I had room for 12 of them! laugh Nice!

You're most welcome. I am

You're most welcome. I am also not a huge fan of the marketing side of the business, but you do what you gotta do. I just finished your book and I absolutely love the chapter "Do You Want To Quit Smoking" it is all so true.

I was thinking of using the AG nutes mixed in water to add to the tomatoes. Do you think that would work or is there something that you think would be better? We got a late start, so the tom seedlings were planted on 5/26. I have 3 boxes of toms with 2 plants per box. The beefsteak is almost 10 feet tall and loaded with toms. We have a few in ripening stage now. I have 4 cucumber plants and we are covered up with cucumbers already - direct sow on 5/27. I guess I need to learn how to make refrigerator pickles. After seeing how well the first 3 Earthboxes did, we wound up ordering a total of 12. I have 2 reserved for broccoli and garlic and 2 more for what - I don't know yet, but I'll figure it out.

I'll get your review posted in the A.M. It's time to report for kitchen duty right now.

Ooh - thanks so much,

Ooh - thanks so much, Katherine, for spreading the word! yes !

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just write them without doing the marketing? Though the marketing can be fun, too. For the second go-round, at least it made me think about how to market it when coming up with the outline.

I dedicated one GrowBox this year to spring crops, then fall crops. (Kinda by accident. wink) What I enjoyed most in spring was the Chinese cabbage, so I'm doing another round of that. And trying brussel sprouts for the first time - wish me luck. I heard on the radio that a serving of brussel sprouts a day makes you lose weight - there's just some sulfur (?) compound in them. At any rate, we like roasted brussel sprouts, and like to buy the spikes in the fall.

Both under floating row cover... But apparently the butterflies are Persistent. I removed about 5 caterpillars off the brussel sproutlings yesterday. Eh, if all they're good for is attracting caterpillars away from the Chinese cabbage, I suppose that's still a win.

Oh, hey - with such a long season, you might want to add mid-term nutes to the Earthbox for tomatoes. I always need to around the beginning of August. (Tomatoes here are good until frost kills them - but they need food, and the GrowBox strips are only good for 1 season, not 2.)

That's great! My last one was

That's great! My last one was in November and was the box set of all of the books in the series. The print version of that one came out to be close to 500 pages. Whew!

I've been covered up with outdoor gardening and haven't had time to decide on a new project yet. One thing I had forgotten about seasonal crops is that in South Carolina, there's plenty of time to do a fall planting - duh. So I've been rounding up seeds for that and trying to calculate when I'll have Earthboxes available for another round of veggies.

Oddly enough, the subject of vaping came up on a barbecue forum that I belong to, so I posted a link for your book there, so I'm sure that will result in some sales. I also sent the link to the lady that owns the vape shop we use, and did some social media posts. I'll let you know when the review is posted.

Oh, thank you so much, Katherine! I'd really appreciate a review - not enough yet!

That's funny. I was thinking, "Oh, the next book ought to be on the same subject as the last book..." But so far sales of the new book seem to be increasing sales of Indoor Salad. smiley Vaping and indoor gardening seem to have more overlap than expected!

Do you have any more books coming out soon?
