We Love our AeroGarden

tdgglobal's picture

We have just completed our first entire grow season of the orginal herbs of basil, thyme and dill. I must say that I couldn't be happier with our unit. I received my aerogarden as a Christmas gift and love it so much that we now offer it on our website http://www.hydroveggies.com. We have posted a few YouTube videos of our garden and have posted a few blogs about the wonderful recipes. Now my only problem is trying to decide what I want to grow next and which additional unit I want to purchase. Decisions, decisions.

 No worries. thanks anyway.

No worries. thanks anyway. I'm excited to say that one of the two tomato plants that I crushed while adjusting the light now has 8 blooms. I touch them daily and have a fan to gently blow on them to hopefully pollenate. I so want some beautiful tomatoes. :-)

Sorry, tdgglobal - all my kit

Sorry, tdgglobal - all my kit boxes are years old now. Been seeding my own pods for a while now!

Well one of the 2 mega

Well one of the 2 mega tomatoe plants is blooming inspite of me. 16 blooms so far. Yeah! I am hoping the second will produce flowers soon. The broken stems I planted also died because the water level dropped while I was away for a few days. :-(

Here is an off the wall request. I need upc codes for Aerogarden seed kits. The ones I'm finding are invalid. I've tried contacting AeroGarden directly and they again are in the middle of changing their marketing strategy and do not want to provide them yet. Is anyone willing to forward upc codes for the seed kits they have? It is the 12 digit number under the bar code of each box.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I know is seems weird but I

I know is seems weird but I am so excited to see that my mega tomatoes can live inspite of the abuse I put them through. :-) I planted my first mega tomatoes on 10/2/11 and last week was so jazzed to see they are now starting to flower but now I'm sad. As I was trying to raise the light, I did not get it locked in place properly so it slid down and chopped off the top of my tomato plants. Of course all the flowers were all on the top of the plants. I cut off the stems to make clean cuts and put them directly into empty pods in my garden. Now although the stems never even wilted the leaves and flowers are drying up. :-( I really hope the remaining plants will recover quickly so we can have our first tomatoes. I've tried non-Aerogarden tomatoes, but although the plants grew beautifully, I never even had a single bloom to produce fruit. Think happy thoughts for my tomatoes friends.

 You will LOVE your garden.

You will LOVE your garden. I've had a lot of fun and have enjoyed my gardens very much. I recently did a health fair where I had a 3 pod garden with cascading petunias and the 7 pod garden with salad greens. It was a huge suceess! It is so much fun to cook new recipes using fresh herbs and top off the meal with fresh salad greens. Yumalious!

That's awesome! By the way,

That's awesome!

By the way, I'm just starting to have an aerogarden, and I think it'll be fun. So, I'll just do my homework and get by as soon as possible.

We are so excited about our

We are so excited about our AeroGarden that we are now the proud distributors of AeroGrow products. I should receive my 2 new AeroGardens this week and can't wait to grow my salad greens and maybe some more basil. I even purchased a tripod for my camera so I can document from start to finish how long it takes to setup and plant an AeroGarden. My original AeroGarden is a 3 pod which came with thyme, dill and basil. I've just finished my last wonderful harvest of the basil and just planted some fugi apple seeds in its place just for an experiment. After the thyme was finished I planted seeds from a cherry tomatoe I had just sliced open. It is doing great! I can't decide what to start in the third pod yet. I'll be documenting all my gardens at http://hydroveggies.com.
