Toy Choi & Flower Cuttings

I planted these right before going on vacation - toy choi (a 5" pak choi) to the left, and cuttings from my Pandora's Box pansy (grown from seed and planted outside) and twinkle phlox (from my English Cottage Garden - my fave of those flowers). To my amazement, this is what they looked like when I got back from vacation - the pansy flowered! These are just shy of two weeks old.

There were no Master Gardener Kits for the mini, so I used Park Starts plugs and General Hydroponics Flora Grow / Micro Hardwater / Bloom mostly for these. I'd more than run out of Aerogrow flower tabs before the end of my original mini flower kit.

One nice thing about using the Park Starts plugs, is that I can actually start new seedlings and cuttings in them ahead of time, and then plug them into a mini when they're bigger. Though on this replanting, the Park Starts block is working on dill for outdoors.
