Hi Gisette,
I have a picasa account and want to try posting pictures using it. I tried fetching and nothing happens. Didn't you post instructions somewhere??
Thanks,
Beth

Hi Gisette,
Thanks! Photobucket is now working so I'll use that for now. Just trying to expand my horizons since you knowledgeable types use Picasa.

I really like the Picasa application for prepping photos. Their "fill light" tool especially is the first graphic editor lightening tool I've ever seen that does what I mean: "the light parts are fine, just make the dark parts lighter." Redeye removal also quick and easy. Just all around good for cleaning up photos.
The reliability of their API isn't my fave feature, though.

Hey, Beth,
I finally figured out how to get the lightboxer working again. It's actually a permissions problem on the Picasa end.
Picasa Web Albums | Settings | Privacy and Permissions
Down that page in section "Creative Commons", somehow my account had gotten "Do not allow reuse". Changed that to "Allow reuse with attribution", and the lightboxer started working again.

Hi, Beth,
Yes! I posted instructions! None of which will work at the moment!
The Picasa Lightboxer is broken. Google seems to have changed its API again, and I haven't gotten around to psychoanalyzing it yet. (Just noticed a week ago, but I've been kinda busy.) FWIW, the old lightboxer and new lightboxer fail the same way, and I haven't found anything online about Google intentionally changing access. But that hasn't been unusual with their Picasa API, unfortunately.
Sorry... Soon.
I thought you used Photobucket? Or is that ill too?
