Nice! I should check out

Nice! I should check out kidsdeco's adapters. smiley

I replaced the pumps on 3 of my Aerogardens, but they're still really loud. Better than my original Aerogarden mini pumps though - those came on for 20 seconds, off for 40 seconds. I needed to kill them, and I did...

Yes I bought adapters from

Yes I bought adapters from Kidsdeco on ebay.. In fact all of my aerogarden use custom 26 watts 1600 lumens CFL from wallmart, cheaper and effective!

I've also replaced the pump completely with a dedicated aquarium pump with a bigger airstone, which helps greatly! More quiet and effective than stock pump!

Oops, didn't see your update

Oops, didn't see your update here, MetalHeadz. Wow! Those are really fast peppers!

So, on your Aerogarden 3, you changed it to use a regular CFL lightbulb? It's doing an awesome job on the pepper plant!

Ah, gotcha. In the US, we write that "10/4/2014". For no discernable reason. To bypass the US/EU confusion, I go with 20141004...

Nah I've started them 4

Nah I've started them 4 october (not even 2 months now)

The peppers in the picture are Red Fire and yes, according to the documentation I've received with the seed kit, theyre supposed to turn red. I've read that redder they become, hotter they will be so Im gonna wait! :)

My mini jalapenos however will stay green and become bigger.

Welcome, metalheadz!

Welcome, metalheadz! smiley

Wow, slow peppers, huh? Are you sure they're supposed to turn red? Have you tried eating one green yet? Or do they still have too-thin walls?

I'm surprised. Peppers take a long time, but 7 months is extreme even for them.
