English Cottage Garden - first AG mini kit

I'm just collecting pictures right now. May add story later.

Kit planted soon after February 1 in a brand new Aerogarden Mini. Soon (almost immediately...) contacted Aerogrow and told them I wanted to send it back! I bought the mini to grow flowers over my desk and it was too d---d loud! The new air pump was really loud, and worse, it was on a 20 second on, 40 second off, growling cycle! AG customer service was wonderful as always, and sent me another mini, and told me to just keep the first for spare parts. (I eventually salvaged it with an external air pump - and since it sounded so much better, rigged them both with the external air pump.) Please note that they've redesigned this - the new Aerogarden3 is not the same 20 second on/40 second off noisemaker the original minis were.

This wasn't what the picture at Aerogrow.com looked like when I bought the kit (in fact, it said on the website it had lavender, I thought...), but it's what's there now:

Garden retired on June 19th after 4 1/2 months. However, Drann gave me the idea to take cuttings! The pink petunia cutting grew to flower and lived outside until early September, when the caterpillars got it. At this writing (October 29th), one of the twinkle phlox clones is still going outside in a railing planter. Though it's getting too cold now here (Connecticut), so it won't last much longer.
