Carrots Petite 'n Sweet

I love those little carrots that they serve with filet mignon & mashed potatoes. I can only find them in the high end groceries store here in NYC like Balducci's so when my bf saw these seeds he bought them for me! Yay!

The Cat Carrot Catastrophe
This morning, just a little after 8am, I was woken up by the most horrible sound. I ran outta bed to see what it was and to my absolute horrilbe I discovered My cat Bianca had gone into my grow tent and knocked down my pot of Petite n Sweet carrots which were only 10 days old.
I was both horrified and sad and angry! Urg!
I did my best to rescue each and every baby seedling and return her to her home.
I am not sure they will survive but I had to try! Only time will tell.

Today a few leaves are laying down but nothing major. There are over 30 seedlings in the pot so I should definitely get some carrots. Some of them are even taller than when I put them back in which I assume means they are reaching for the light.. a sign of life! woo hoo!

I tasted one of the falling carrot sprouts and my goodness... it really did taste like a carrot. I will definitely be making carrot microgreens. Now I need to find seeds in bulk

YAY! One of the falling carrot sprouts has a new carrot leaf!
And even one of the few I stuck in with the chives
