Wow!  Now strawberries!  Can't wait to see how these turn out.  I have some Alpine strawberry seeds, but haven't decided where to plant them.

I'll be watching!  Wow!

I cant wait! I love strawberries but the really good ones are expensive here in Manhattan! When I saw these I had to have them! According to what I read I should have a few berries in 3.5 to 4 months. I am using the Law of Attraction to get to taste them sooner! lol

I think its working on all my plants b/c today I see a cilantro & a chive sprout!  I am about to go take pictures of them now!

Hey Jessi, do you have any room left in your property.

I thought I had crowded my AG until you came along, looking forward to seeing those berries fruit.

These guys are a tiny bit bigger today.

I called Buzzy Seeds yesterday to let them know that only 3 out of 10 seeds germinated and they are sending me another packet for my growing pleasure!

Wow.

I am waiting for my alpines to germinate too, those are very iffy from what I read online.

I had problems with my seeds, the germination rate was not the greatest in the world - pretty poor actually.

So I guess that means I am lucky I got 3 at all. I will plant the new ones in another pot with Miracle Grow when they arrive. I wonder if that will make a difference.

2 more strawberry plants appeared!

One of the others has a true leaf but which is remarkable since they are so tiny!

1 month, 1 day old

Wow!  It has been a month already?  No wonder Peat was frustrated with their growth rate.  I think my Alpine strawberries are also about 3 weeks now since seeding.

Yup. They are itty bitty babies but I am very zen at the moment and feel like really giving into the notion that everything good takes time & that I must respect the time nature takes to do it right! And when I finally do taste the sweetness of a berry it will all be worth it.

Thanks Gisette

I have a light right over them and I think it is making all the difference in the rate of their growth.

< nods > It's tough, isn't it. The difference between any indoor lights and sunlight is huge. I would love to have a sunlight-collecting optic pipe system, to collect sunlight and aim it indoors in winter... Or even in summer, minus the heat.

Hmmm that would be nice! Definitely minus the heat. But I am happy to report that with all these lights I have my energy bill only went up $6 a month
