Water must be mixed into the soil before the seeds go in.

At home between my 2 Aero Garden 3s growing Green Beans and Herbs (basil, chives & thyme).

I can't believe how easy this is for you!!  I agree with Beth, you are a natural!

What growing medium are you using?  I can't quite tell.

Judith, I believe the soil comes together with the growth kit, as you can see in the nice packet of soil in the 2nd pic from the top.

I can't take all the credit!

I bought these Grow kits from www.buzzyseeds.com & I just followed the directions. They made it so easy by including the kind of soil each seed needs.

For example, I noticed the chive soil has alot of those little white pebbly things in it. The strawberry kit has more organic matter like sticks and wood chips in the soil and the tomato, peppers, peppers & cilantro all have the stuff that has some peat moss in it.Plus I think there seeds are amaizng. I had 100% germination with the tomato seeds and all the rest are looking close to that as well. My 1st strawberry plant & sweet pepper plants have appeared today! I find this to be really amazing because from what I read online they both take 21 - 30 days to germinate. Woo hoo!

Nice one Jessi, it's going really well for you - breaking all germination times.

Thanks Stone.  I didn't even notice I was so busy checking out the plants.

Jessi - do you plan on growing everything to harvest in the pots?

I love cilantro (in my Mexican dishes) so will be doing some soon.  I can't believe how easy this is for you!!!  I'm gonna have to try it!

Enjoy!

I know! I looooooove cilantro too! Homemade salsa is the best thing in the summer. I am getting hungry just thinking about it.

I'm so impatient about it right now!

I just want to taste my stuff.  Since I started this, I hardly want to eat any other store bought food. I have never eaten a home grown tomato and I hear it tastes like nothing else. Urg! I just want my homegrown food right now lol!

I grew cilantro last summer and really enjoyed it. Adds a very fresh taste to pasta salads.

The plants got huge. And tricky as they were to start in the AG, they were simple in a pot. I suspect they really wanted heat and bright sun, though, which may be why they got enormous. (Above my waist.)

I was beginning to wonder is this was cilantro until it showed me its signature leaves today!

Help! You guys! On Friday, when I first set up this Grow Tent I accidentally knocked over the basil cutting and the water spilled into the cilantro. I thought it would be ok but I now now some white fuzzy stuff in the pot. I removed most of it 2 days ago but it has returned in a new spot. Is this mold? What should I do to save my cilantro?

Pour some antibiotic grade (plain old) hydrogen peroxide into a cup. Dab q-tip into it, and use wet q-tip to paint the fuzz to kill it.

Some of these guys are falling over :(

I tasted a leaf off one of the falling over ones and it definitely tastes like cilantro. I have to plant more.

They are looking good...  Not a fan of cilantro personally but many friends love them.

Really? Not a fan? Not even in salsa?

MaryH (not verified)

I will eat it if it is already there but if I make it, I do it without the Cilantro.

Well Jessi --- you've done it again.  This time you've inspired me to plant cilantro in an outrider.  I agree with your statement above, and the seeds I planted in the AG haven't come up.  So I'm giving in and will get a small pot tomorrow and put it between a couple of AG's.

It's not salsa without cilantro!   Hahahahaha
