Aw. Did you get the latest AeroGrow email newsletter? With the ladybug Aerogarden 3? I'm thinking the market's bad this year for it - but the market's bad this year for just about anything... It's a cute kids' gift, though!
One other thing I noticed in the catalog - they listed baby greens, but not mesclun, in the 7-podder kits.
Mesclun is my 2nd favorite kit!
I checked that at Aerogrow tonight - they had it the opposite (and much smarter!) way - baby greens is off the menu (that kit did not grow and deserved to be canned), but mesclun is still available. Though neither of them (nor arugula) come in the 6-podder kits.
Interesting, like one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. It's happened before, unfortunately. I saw the ladybug, a soccer ball and a couple other designs months ago. Can't remember if they were for sale or if it was a survey they sent, hmmm. Got a new catalog in the box with my MG kit and pump today but haven't had time to go through it yet.
I think I saw some stuff like that in an investor's report someone posted. Don't remember the ladybug, but there was a girl garden, boy garden, carnivorous plants, and some one-podders - product development prototypes or concept mockups, I think. My guess is they really stopped selling the baby greens - because it's really difficult to grow, slow, very narrow range of water and temperature tolerance, perhaps - and removed the wrong kit from the catalog galleys by mistake.

Oh! And the Mega Cherry Tomatoes kit (also in a 6-podder version) is finally for sale on Aerogrow's website.
(It's a 2-pod kit, only for extended-arm AG's.)
