Hi All,
Well, I acquired an ag pro 200 by semi-devious means. It has been sitting in the basement waiting to be shipped to a niece-in-law. I had good intentions of sending it right down until I found out (1) she and her hubby are moving to a new house, and (2) she is expecting her second child this fall. I convinced my SO that a veggie pro may be a better option for a new Mom to be (no pump toworry about). So, I now have way to many ag's. Currrent count: ag elite + with mega cherries, ag deluxe with peppers, 2 ag pros with basil (one to be replanted with lettuce), one ag deluxe with cucs and the white ag at work with ag lettuce. And to think I almost fell for the ag 3 deal! Put that with the earthbox cucs I'll be planting this weekend under fluorescent lights and the swiss chard to be planted later - I will be busy this fall...

HiGisette,
I haven't replaced bulbs yet - I guess I'll have to do it soon. I think 6 months is a conservative life for bulbs. Anyone?
Beth
I think I've been sort of averaging 9 months or so, but would like to pay for them less often, of course. 6 months seems like a very short time, but they're on 17 hours a day or so. And they run pretty hot.
I think I ran mine for over 12 months! I couldn't confirm if the plant growth dropped off, I assume so but didn't notice much difference in the plants.

Green with envy, Beth.
Do you replace lightbulbs on your AG's?
