Hi All,

Been really busy but just wanted to show you these pepper plants.  These were supposed to go in the new hydro unit but are still in the ag with 2 basil plants.  I am impressed.  These are full size peppers (Ace variety).  The plants are downright petite and loaded with flowers.  The basil plants are not happy but growing.  Using floramato nutes with well water (EC 1.8 and pH 6.0).  Changing nutes only once every two weeks.

Wow, Beth. Now I know what to do with my floramato nutes, huh?  Those are tiny plants for full-size peppers.

Good to hear from you! Hope you get enough less busy to enjoy your spring planting. I declared the weather close-enough today and set out my pansies. They were so root-bound...

Fully loaded with flowers and growing well. Good to see the FloraMato performing as I'll be using this later on with my peppers.

Ace pepper plants in the AG have set peppers.  Very well behaved plants.  I am impressed at the tolerance to lack of attention.  Flush and refill every two weeks using floramato EC around 2 and pH around 6.  Basil is still in there, not happy but growing.

Nice, Beth! Sounds like you've finally found a good full-sized pepper for AG growing! Look forward to hearing how they taste.

Hi All,

I am so pleased!  It is possible to grow full size bell peppers in an ag! Picked two tonight for salad and they taste great!  These plants are so neglected it is a shame.  Did manage to replace the nutes tonight.

Awesome, Beth - thanks for sharing!

Now I wonder whether it's the variety, or the floramato nutes? Hm! Maybe I should try another full-size sweet pepper in Floramato!? What do you think the key to your success is?

I think the variety. Ace is supposed to be a small plant. Staying small due to neglect? I am so glad the peppers taste good!
