Pre-season Greens

Transplanted my first seedling out today. Probably way premature, but this little spinach is already ~4 weeks from seed (began life in the original LED greens experiment) and supposed to be mature at ~6 weeks.

The "Tomato" Growbox

My 2nd growbox was primarily dedicated to tomatoes - everything else grew around that priority. But, it was still quite cold when the growboxes arrived - indeed, the tomato plants I ordered from Burpee hadn't even arrived yet. And when they did, I still kept them inside, because it was still below 50 degrees every night.

Spinach

A number of people, including myself, have tried to grow spinach in an AeroGarden.

Unanimous conclusion:  Spinach doesn't like getting its toes wet. Normal spinach won't grow in an AG.
